Read the title. It seems 500 megabyte patchs are becoming very common these days. I was downloading an update to Crysis Wars and it weighed in at 511 MB. Why is this so? I read what was in the patch, and it was very minor. Some balancing, some tweaks, and small new map. How on earth can that take up 511 megabytes? It's ridiculous! Maybe someone who works at Stardock or has experience in game development can help, or someone who just knows the answer.

Ever seen a game and just wanted to give it a try? Two games I tried and liked: Mount and Blade: This combat sim/RPG blows a lot of the major stuff away. Graphics aren't good at all, but the gameplay is. Amazing mod community. X3: Reunion: Was looking at this for a while and decided to try it. It was a great experience for me. Sucked up a lot of gameplay hours, but was still very enjoyable. The sequel, Terran Conflict, is also very good, but I haven't played it as much.

I recently got World In Conflict Soviet Assault, which is supposed to include the full World in Conflict game. However, it doesn't have an option let me play the American campaign, which is supposed to be much better than the Soviet one. If anyone could help, it would be appreciated. Also, can you play single player skirmishes? The game doesn't even have an option for that either.

Hi all, I've been having problem with heat issues with my computer when I run graphics intensive games such as Crysis. I clean the sysem interior of dust regularly, but it doesn't seem to help. Hi, When I move my mouse cursor to the right edge of the screen, it goes off the side completely, so when I click, whatever application I'm running minimizes. I need to know why this is happening, because I can't move the camera to the right when I'm playing games. This has only recently begun to happen.

A lot of games are releasing DLC (downloadable content) these days, and it's an "all of a sudden" thing, as games usually didn't do this before. They just recently started doing it. What happened to expansion packs? What happened to free updates? I know consoles have done this a for while, but it seems to be growing rapidly on PCs (Sins of a Solar Empire, Fallout 3). Makes me wonder. Anyone know why or have a theory?

Bit Torrent is ridiculously slow. I'm getting averages of 6.0 kb/s. It's taking fucking forever, and I'm pissed because I have really fast internet. (Another reason not to pirate games, takes forever with Torrents.) Does anyone know how to increase torrent speeds?
