When I boot my computer from Sleep mode, the desktop is unresponsive (nothing reacts when I click, icons don't light up when I pass the cursor over it, right clicking doesn't do anything). This only started happening today. I downloaded new display drivers for my computer yesterday, but that's all I can think of.

Can anyone help me with this?

I used system restore to roll back the graphics drivers, but now Internet Explorer doesn't load the internet (now using Firefox for the web).

Grrrrrrr.... Why did I have to update that stupid display driver?!

Did you uninstall the old drivers and reboot before installing the new ones, or did you install the new over the old?

This is a shot in the dark, but... Do you have two monitors?

I had some issues with graphics drivers recently on a dual monitor system. In order to get it to work correctly outside of safe mode I had to disconnect one of the monitors, update the drivers, then connect the second monitor again...

I usually install the new ones over the old, but it doesn't matter. I used System Restore to go back to an older point, and I haven't had any problems yet.
