Ever seen a game and just wanted to give it a try?

Two games I tried and liked:

Mount and Blade: This combat sim/RPG blows a lot of the major stuff away. Graphics aren't good at all, but the gameplay is. Amazing mod community.

X3: Reunion: Was looking at this for a while and decided to try it. It was a great experience for me. Sucked up a lot of gameplay hours, but was still very enjoyable. The sequel, Terran Conflict, is also very good, but I haven't played it as much.

Red ninja end of owner: This is one of the best stealth, ninja, and panty shot games I have ever played. A big boobed 17 year old ninja running around, seducing soldiers and than killing them, and assassinating with a wire... All they needed to do is fix the camera and we are in.

Defense Grid: The Awakening. I hadn't even played a tower defense game until I tried this game. It was amazing. But there's been a lot of "try and buy" on the Xbox Live Arcade. Free demos really do the trick for me these days. With download speeds approaching my requirements for my limited patience I can download a game demo fast enough before I lose my desire to try something new.

Tales of Symphonia *gets shot for naming console title*

Rented, then bought pretty much right after returning the game. This honestly started my love affair with Japanese stuff. Hell, I just watched two episodes of anime and I have finals tomorrow.

Honestly, I just can't think of another title that really grabbed me after that. Most other games impressed after an hour, but afterwards it's more "good not great."
